Peer Support Walk-In

Life as a student can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, whether you’re dealing with something heavy on your heart or just a tricky everyday problem. Together with SAM and the student party Stimulus, Vita offers three free ways to get support. You can find us every Tuesday from 13:00 – 16:00, at Professor Verbernelaan 10 (campus student accommodation). Open for Dutch and international students, we welcome students from all walks of life.

If you want a private talk, you can book an appointment through Calendly (See button below) At the appointed time two trained student volunteers listen to whatever’s on your mind. Maybe you’re feeling low, worried about safety in a relationship, facing a difficult choice, or just need someone to listen while you wait for professional help.

Or, if your challenge is more practical, you can simply pop into our Peer Support Walk-in. We can help you figure out what to do if your bike’s been stolen, you’re struggling to find accommodation, you can’t track down something in your study program, you want to find a GP, or you’re stuck with any other everyday hurdle.
Whatever question you come with, you’ll be met with understanding from students who genuinely want to help you move forward.
